Gunung Nuang

This hill must be a very popular hiking hill. I bet alot of people had drop countless droplet of sweat here. It is my 2nd time here and this time we start early. Our aim is to reach the top.

We reached the parking area at foot of the hill by 6.30am. Got ourselves prepared and off we start the journey at 7. There were 12 of us. This time the trek was wet and slippery as we suspect it rains the night before. We walked and stop for rest almost every 45mins. It took us 4hrs to reached Kem Pacat where we considered it as a 2nd highest peak. There we took our fulfilling food and rested for 1/2 an hour or so before we took off again to reach the peak. Some just stay put at Kem Pacat while others proceed.

Along the way the atmosphere was very cooling and misty.


These part of the hill is more difficult to climb. It is more steep and added the slippery and wet ground it slows the pace.

But along the way the flowers and those untouch rock surfaces made the scenery so cooling and quiet and of course eery to some.





And finally we made it to the top after a 1.5hrs climb.



Took us 1.5 hrs to get back to Kem Pacat and from there another 4hrs back to where we started. So total we spent 12 hrs up and down the hill.
